INDIAN ROCKS BEACH — City commissioners recently agreed to lower the tax rate slightly.
The rate, adopted after one of two public hearings, will be set at $1.80 for every $1,000 of assessed, taxable property value. The current rate is $1.90. Many tax bills will still go up due to rising property values.
